Who is responsible for your personaldata?

Your personal data is controlled by ASBG GmbH or a company affiliated with ASBG GmbH, which is identified in our communications as the controller of your data (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "ASBG"). In this way we ensure the security and integrityof your personal data.

For what purposes do we use yourpersonal data?

Depending on the nature of our business relationship with you, we will only process your personal data for a range of reasonable and legitimate business purposes, including but not limited to the following purposes (“Permitted Purposes”):

To the extent permitted by applicable law, communications as part of an existing business relationship about ASBG products and services that are similar to or related to the products or services that you have previously purchased or used as part of that businessrelationship;

Provision of business-related information for our dealers and distributors, e.g. B. about new products, price changes, discount campaigns, change ofsupplier, dealer information, technical problems and sales stops;

Investigating and resolving disputes,enforcing contractual agreements and establishing, exercising or defending legal claims; or

Insofar as you have expressly given us your consent or this is permissible under data protection law, we can also process your personal data for thefollowing purposes:

Communicate with you through the communication channels you authorize to keep you up to date with the latest announcements, special offers or other information about ASBG's products, technologies and services (including marketing-related newsletters) and ASBG events and projects; Conducting customer surveys regarding customer preferences, customer satisfaction and other topics related to ASBG, marketing campaigns, market analysis, sweepstakes, contests or other promotional activities orevents.;

Profiling and automated processing: collecting information about your preferences based on your activities when you use our website or any products, downloadable content (e.g. registering for a software download, e-book or white paper) or other services that we offer online to use. Based on this information (e.g. what content is downloaded, clicked or viewed and how often and for how long) we create a user profile in order to improve and personalize the quality of communication and interaction with you (e.g. through newsletter tracking or website analytics). The logic we follow in our profiling activities is to identify areas that you may find useful or otherwise interesting and to provide you with more effective and targeted information about such areas. With respect to marketing-related types of communication (e.g. emails and phone calls), where required by law, we will only provide this information to you after your consent and we will provide you with an opportunity to opt-out at any time if you do not wish toreceive further marketing-related types of communication you would like to receive from us.

We do not use your personal data tomake automated decisions about you or to create profiles other than those described above.

We apply modern technologies to monitor and analyze data related to our products (also known as the Internet of Things). The relevant information is used to support our customers, e.g. B. by improving our product design and product service. Typically, no personal data is processed in connection with such technologies. If this is the case, the personal data will be processedstrictly in accordance with this data protection notice and in accordance with the relevant laws.

The legal bases for the processing of your personal data are set out in Article 6 of the European General Data Protection Regulation. Depending on the above purposes for which we process your personal data, the processing is necessary either for the performance of a contract or other business agreement with ASBG, or for compliance with our legal obligations or for the legitimate interests we are pursuing, always under the Provided that those interests are not overridden by your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms. In addition, the processing may be based on your consent if you have expressly given usthis.

Scope of processed personaldata

In particular, we may collect and process the following categoriesof personal data:

Professional or personal contact information such as full name, address, telephone number, mobile phone number, fax number and e-mail address, mobile phone identification number andcomputer IP address when you use our websites;

Payment and Financial Data such as details required to process payments and prevent fraud, including account information, credit/debit card numbers, security code numbers, payments,outstanding balances, expenses and other related billing information;

other business information that must be processed as part of a project or contractual relationship with ASBG or that you provide voluntarily, such as orders placed, payments made,inquiries and projects;

Information about your interests and preferences, as well as information obtained through the analytical methods described above, in particular about your activities when you use our website or any products, downloadable content (e.g. registration for a software download, for e-books or white papers) or use other services we offer online. Special categories of personal data. In certain situations, if required by law or if you have given us your consent, we may also collect special categories of your personal data that are subject to special data protection protection. ASBG retains control of your personal data and remains fully responsible for it. Otherwise, we will only pass on your personal data if you instruct us to do so or give us your consent, if we are obliged to do so due to applicable law or court or official orders, orif we suspect fraudulent or criminal activities.

Where is your personal data processed?

ASBG is a global company. In the course of our business operations, we may also transfer your personal data to recipients in countries outside the European Economic Area (“third countries”) where the applicable laws do not offer the same level of data protection as the laws of your home country. In doing so, we will comply with the relevant data protection requirements and take reasonable precautions to ensure the security and integrity of your personal data, in particular by agreeing to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, which can be viewed here. Your Privacy Rights

Under certain legal conditions, you can request information about your personal data or its correction, deletion or restricted processing. You can also object to data processing or request data portability. In particular, you have the right to request a copy of your personal data stored by us. If you make such requests repeatedly, we may charge a reasonable fee for doing so. If you have given us your consent to the processing of your personal data and revoke this at a later point in time, this will only have effects for the future, i. H. the withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. Are you obliged to provide personal data?

In principle, you provide us with your personal data voluntarily. As a rule, you cannot expect any negative effects if you do not give your consent or do not provide any personal data. However, there are situations where ASBG cannot act without certain personal data, e.g. B. because this personal data is required to process your orders, access a website or newsletter or to carry out a legally required conformity check. In such cases, ASBG unfortunately cannot provide you with the information you have requested without therelevant personal data.

Your personal data will be deleted immediately if they are no longer reasonably required for the permitted purposes or if you revoke your consent (if necessary) and we are no longer legally or otherwise obliged or entitled to further store the data.
